Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and the operator of KDP Control Room (“we”, “us”, “our”) governing your access to and use of the KDP Control Room website and service (the “Service”). By creating an account, signing in, purchasing credits or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

The Service is an AI-assisted publishing tool for Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (“KDP”). Given a topic, or a niche you select for daily Auto-Pilot generation, it researches and proposes book topics, drafts and edits a manuscript, generates cover artwork, and packages a downloadable bundle that includes an EPUB manuscript, a cover image, supplementary marketing assets and a KDP listing kit (description, keywords and categories).

Content is produced by automated systems, including third-party artificial-intelligence models. It may contain errors, omissions, inaccuracies or material that resembles existing works. You are solely responsible for reviewing, fact-checking and editing all output before you rely on or publish it. We do not publish anything to Amazon KDP on your behalf.

3. User Accounts

• Magic-link sign-in. Accounts use passwordless sign-in: we email a time-limited link to the address you provide. Anyone who can open that email can access your account, so you are responsible for keeping your email account secure and for not forwarding or sharing sign-in links. You must provide an email address you control and keep it accurate.
• One person, one account. You may not create multiple accounts to obtain additional free credits or to circumvent limits. We may withhold or remove credits, and suspend accounts, where we reasonably suspect abuse.
• Telegram integration. Connecting Telegram is optional. It uses a single-use link that expires after a short time and links one Telegram chat to your account so that we can send delivery alerts, which contain a download link to your finished bundle that expires after 7 days. You can disconnect Telegram from your dashboard at any time. A promotional free-trial credit is granted at most once per Telegram account. Your use of Telegram remains subject to Telegram's own terms and privacy practices.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account and must tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.

4. Payments & Subscriptions

• Credits. The Service runs on credits. One credit generates one book; Auto-Pilot uses three credits per day. Prices are shown in Nigerian naira and are charged through our payment processor, Paystack. We do not receive or store your card details.
• Pay-as-you-go. Credits purchased individually are a one-time payment and are added to your balance after Paystack confirms the payment.
• Weekly and Monthly plans. These are subscriptions. By subscribing you authorise Paystack to charge your payment method automatically at the start of each billing period (weekly or monthly) until you cancel, and the plan's credits are added with each successful charge. You can cancel at any time using the link Paystack emails to subscribers; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and you will not be charged again.
• Failed or ended subscriptions. If a renewal payment fails or a subscription ends, your account returns to pay-as-you-go and Auto-Pilot is paused. Credits already in your balance are kept.
• No refunds for used credits. Credits that have been used to generate a book are non-refundable. If a book cannot be started because of a fault on our side, the credit is returned to your balance automatically.
• We may change prices or plans on reasonable notice; a change takes effect from your next billing period and does not affect periods already paid.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

As between you and us, you retain 100% ownership of the manuscripts, covers and KDP listing metadata generated for your account (the “Output”), and we claim no ownership of, and no licence to publish or exploit, your Output. To the extent we hold any rights in the Output, we assign them to you. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store, process and deliver your inputs and Output in order to operate the Service.

Your use of the Output is subject to Amazon KDP's content and publishing guidelines, including its requirements to disclose AI-generated content, and to the law that applies where you publish. Because Output is machine-generated, we make no representation that copyright subsists in it or that it is free of third-party rights; you are responsible for confirming that you may lawfully publish it. The Service itself, including its software, design, prompts and branding, remains our property and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE AND ALL OUTPUT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, NON-INFRINGEMENT AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. AI-GENERATED CONTENT MAY BE INACCURATE, INCOMPLETE OR UNSUITABLE FOR YOUR PURPOSE.

WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT ANY BOOK WILL BE ACCEPTED BY AMAZON KDP, WILL RANK IN ANY SEARCH OR CATEGORY, WILL BE DISCOVERED BY READERS, OR WILL GENERATE ANY SALES OR INCOME. Any earnings examples or marketing statements describe possibilities, not promises. The Service depends on third-party providers and may be interrupted, changed or discontinued.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE OR ANY OUTPUT, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
